3000 Pound Chandelier In Eastman Theater

The famous Eastman Theater (named after the Kodak founder) in Rochester, New York, at the University of Rochester, is showing off some major upgrades to the 2300 seat venue.

The centerpiece (at least for us!) is a 3000 pound chandelier designed by glass artist Dale Chihuly in the 6 story atrium.

 The 2 year, $47 million upgrade of the theater will definitely be a major boost for Rochester’s downtown. We wish them well!
